Executive Assistant

Seeking detail oriented & positive assistant for a medium sized construction services company.  This position would support primarily top management. Cross train to help cover other office positions as needed.  Opportunity for growth and promotion for self-motivated, dedicated workers.

Experience:  

  • Minimum 2 years of admin assistant experience with increasing responsibility required.

  • Proficiency w/ Office Suite software package, Google Drive, some experience w/ accounting software a plus – in general, skill at learning and using a variety of office related software packages.

Duties include:  

  • Answer phones, dispatch calls, take and relay messages, provide prompt and outstanding service to our vendors and customers and co-workers as needed.

  • Type and distribute meeting minutes and other internal docs.

  • Order and monitor supplies, maintain vehicle records, maintain vendor database.

  • Computer and physical file maintenance.

  • Travel arrangements.

  • Special projects and other office related tasks as needed by leadership team.

Ideal candidates:  

  • Work independently, are self-motivated and accountable and treat confidential information and situations appropriately.  

  • Possess above average customer service skills and telephone etiquette; appropriate grammar and spelling are a must!

  • Are able to be diplomatic in the occasional difficult situation, exercise sound judgment and discretion when dealing with our customers and fellow employees.

Pay & Hours

  • Part-time or Full-time position in a business casual office that knows when to be professional.  Monday thru Friday, hours to be negotiated.

  • Hourly rate of $14 to $16 per hour, depending on experience.  Benefits for full-time employees: sick & vacation leave, 401K retirement plan and employer paid health, dental and vision insurance.
